LID Monitoring Program
EOR evaluated a low impact development (LID) monitoring program within the needs of drainage and watershed protection initiatives to determine what types of LID monitoring are required to achieve the stated goals and objectives (as noted in the respective Stormwater Integrated Resource Plan and the Total Loadings Plans).
EOR helped identify the types of monitoring required to provide the LID data needed for proper monitoring and aided prioritization through reviewing monitoring frequency, duration, and difficulty (based on the complexity of LID facilities and the interconnectedness of pipes, soils and vegetation).
In linking various objectives to outcomes and defining data usages, EOR's holistic approach to monitoring outlined which aspects of the system would have the biggest impact on key functional attributes like flow attenuation and volume reduction.
